Cristina Almeida
Cristina is a Venture Partner at Maze, where she channels her passion for empowering founders tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Cristina played a key role in driving the firm’s growth by strengthening impact investing across Europe and worked closely with over 36 early-stage ventures, helping them achieve bold social and environmental outcomes. Beyond investment, she also led brand, communications, and community management, building a strong network of investors, experts, corporates, and talent dedicated to impact.
Before maze, Cristina was an analyst at EY, where she was seconded to Impact Investment Group in Australia, and gained insights into startups at Mellow. She holds a BSc in Economics from NOVA SBE and a BSc in Political Science from ISCSP. In her free time, she enjoys studying Psychology and dancing like no one is watching.
